Dr Samantha Chan is a specialist Clinical Immunologist and Allergist with public appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Austin Health (MBBS, BMedSci, FRACP). She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of London and completed a PhD at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in 2025, focused on novel gene-editing approaches in inborn errors of immunity.
Dr Chan leads investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored research across immune dysregulation, infection susceptibility, and allergic disease.
She is a member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), and holds an honorary appointment with the University of Melbourne Medical School.
