Immunisations and vaccinations are a cornerstone for prevention of many infectious diseases, and an important part of the management of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Similarly certain members of the community may be recommended different vaccine schedules or doses based on their unique underlying medical conditions.

We are very happy to discuss patients’ specific vaccination requirements, including recommending and facillitating alternate schedules and boosters optimised to their condition.

Along with successfully priming your immune system, there are a range of common side-effects to be expected as part of the vaccination process. We are keen to discuss and manage previous vaccine-associated symptoms to re-assure patients so as they can safely participate in vaccines & immunisations recommend to protect them, their families, and the wider community.

When choosing an allergist you want to make sure the individual you are seeing is a Specialist Allergist, an expert in their field and have undergone rigorous training to provide you with the best advice. There are many unproven allergy tests being offered and inaccurate or even dangerous advice may be given if the doctor is not trained appropriately. Many patients are not aware that anyone can call themselves a "Dr" even those without any formal medical training or a PhD.
